Right off the bat, while this was a cute concept (Lexa secretly plans a resort getaway for her guys while unbeknownst to her they rent out an private island for her), the planner in me couldn't stop thinking about all of the non-refundable things that Lexa would now be losing out on, the reservations, air plane tickets, different activities and reservations etc). 

However, that isn't the issue that I had with this one. Going into it, I knew it was going to be short. All of the Valentine's Day novellas are, and honestly all of them could have just easily been a bonus epilogue to the original books. And I knew that the majority of this book would be sex. However, I was hoping that considering the original book was published in 2022 and this novella didn't come out until 2024, I had hoped that the author had done some research and come up with new ways of making their sexual encounters interesting, but sadly, they were just as repetitive as their original story with the only thing changing being the location they were at. 

On the plus side, it took me less than a half hour to finish this one, so I suggest getting it in addition to their book so that you can read them one after the other while these characters are still fresh in your mind.
