This book was entirely smut without much else, but given that it is only 52 pages long, that was to be expected. I enjoyed getting to see a glimpse of Sophie and Lawson (the couple from the first book, Desperation,) a few years ahead from where we last saw them. However, I do feel like this could have also worked as an epilogue to their story instead of it's own stand-alone as the only focus was on them celebrating Valentine's Day in a sex club in order to fulfill Sophie's deepest and darkest fantasies.
It took me less than a half hour to finish this one, so I suggest getting it in addition to their book so that you can read them one after the other while these characters are still fresh in your mind.
I already have the second book of this series (and it's accompanying novella) on my kindle and look forward to starting them tonight.
