Review: A Convenient Christmas Wedding by Regina Scott
Print Length: 288 pages
Publisher: Love Inspired (November 8, 2016)
From Goodreads.com: Proposing a marriage of convenience to a rugged logger is the boldest move of Nora Underhill's sheltered life. In return for Simon Wallin's protection from her overbearing family, the unassuming seamstress offers prime frontier farmland. But their paper marriage changes when Nora's greedy brother tries to draw her back into a life of drudgery. Her only option: move to Simon's farm, and into the center of his loving, unruly family.
Years of shouldering responsibility have left Simon cynical and reserved. But little by little, Nora's warmth opens his shuttered heart to joy. With their marriage claim under threat, can this practical arrangement blossom over the holidays…and become a love for all seasons?

My Rating: 4 stars out of 5
A word of warning as I know this is not everyone's cup of tea - this novel does have Christian overtones with some praying and mentions of God. This is also a clean romance (meaning there is no sex whatsoever), so if you are expecting something steamier, you are likely to be disappointed.
That being said is was a well written, and sweet romance that involves two unlikely people finding there is more to the other than originally meets the eye. I loved how these two characters "changed" each other for the better - I especially enjoyed seeing Nora stand up to Simon, something she would never have done before she met him.
I also enjoyed spending time with his entire family - the author really managed to bring to life a realistic feeling home life with a variety of different personalities that blended together to make lots of memorable moments.
