“As burns this saint, so burns my soul. I enter alive, and I will have to get out dead.”
Chase Winter let the love of his life slip through his fingers and into the hands of his best friend and mafia boss of the Abandanato family. Now that he's been given a second chance to right a wrong--he refuses to let his own selfishness stand in the way. The only problem? He's not fully in possession of his heart, so when Mil De Lange, the girl who's innocence he stole, and heir to the worst of the worst mafia families in the US, asks him for a favor. He actually says yes, not realizing that that one yes has the power to destroy them all.
Mil's been in love with Chase as long as she can remember, but as the years went by, the love turned to hate, and now that he's agreed to help her, she's wondering if she made a fatal error. Because Chase isn't a teenager anymore. He's a hot blooded male, bent on owning every part of her body and soul, and willing to kill anyone in his path who dares stand in the way.
It's time for secrets to finally be revealed...but make no mistake, it's going to take a lot of bloodshed for those truths to be discovered.
You've never read a New Adult Mafia story like this before...loyalties will be tested, lovers reunited, and friendships obliterated. Welcome to the Family. Blood in--No out.

My thoughts on reading the Prologue of Entice: *chokes up* She's really not about to do what I think she is about to do is she? IS SHE?
Oi. What is there left to say about Rachel Van Dyken? Once again she has made me laugh, made my bite my nails, made my cry... and made complete strangers look at me like I've lost my mind.
There was so much to this novel that I don't know where to begin! I have been a fan of Ms.Van Dyken's work for some time now, and with every book, she just keeps getting better and better. With each story, she manages to write characters who are flawed, yet strong, unbelievable and believable at the same time. She completely sucks you into whatever world she has created, gripping you by the heart and refusing to let go until the climatic ending.
I loved the way that Mil stepped up, and out of her comfort zone. There was a lot of character growth in this story - for all of them, but for her especially. She has been broken, abused, hurt and discarded. And she is now the leader of a mafia family, who has not only done some really horrid things in their past, but who also do not respect their new boss, until she gives them a reason to. She genuinely loves Chase, and has for most of her life, but even with him she has trouble letting go and trusting him with her heart, but luckily for her, Chase is not the type to take no for an answer.
The action starts immediately after their wedding, and does not let up until the very end, a feat that not many authors are able to accomplish as flawlessly as Ms.Van Dyken does.
And just when you think its over, and everyone is safe.. she gives you the Prologue to the next book in the series. And you know the wait is going to kill you.

My thoughts on reading the Prologue of Elicit (Book 4 in the series that Ms. Van Dyken was kind enough to provide at the end): Oh my God! You did not just go there?!?! How did this happen? What happens next? And most importantly HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE THE WAIT?!?
Yeah.. it was that good... and nail biting. And stress inducing. I still don't know how I am expected to make it through until the release of the fourth book as the teaser really set the bar high. And even then.... will my emotions be able to handle it? I can't wait to find out!
